A romantic garden is usually depicted with an abundance of flowers. If your aspiration is to set up a romantic style garden then you will need lots of flowers, and that can become budget breaking. Unless of course you learn to make your own flowers from cuttings.
Once you have learned which way you need to go about propagating the specific variety of flowers you are trying to replicate then you will need to follow through with the planting of, and the necessary care of those cuttings. First you should treat the cuttings with a rooting hormone. Then you can place several cuttings in one pot that has been filled with moist, sterile potting mix. Next, tap the soil tightly around the cuttings.
Finally, to keep the cuttings well hydrated, put a plastic two litre bottle over the pot, and pushed securely into the soil on the ground below. If the earth was properly moistened before the placement of the cuttings then the moisture should condense on the sides of the bottle, and create a moist environment for growth.
